As a department deeply rooted in political awareness and social responsibility, we recognize the importance of student leaders in shaping the academic and cultural environment. These leaders are not only advocates for their peers but also catalysts for change, embodying the values of democracy, responsibility, and active citizenship. PRESIDENT
ABHIRAM NAIK
​Calm in chaos and curious by default, Abhiram is someone who finds meaning in conversations, ideas, and the small moments that make a department feel alive. Known for his easy humour and grounded presence, he believes contribution doesn’t always have to be loud to be lasting. When not around books or discussions, you’ll probably find him observing, thinking, or chasing a half-formed idea. Sincere in responsibility and open in outlook, Abhiram values spaces built on trust, dialogue, and shared growth, and hopes to add to the department’s character in thoughtful, understated ways.

MEHEK RANA
She brings a calm, grounded presence to the Hindu Polso Department as its Vice President, known for her sincerity, discipline, and steady commitment. Soft-spoken yet resolute, she believes leadership is built through consistency, accountability, and thoughtful action rather than visibility alone. Her introverted nature complements her reflective approach, allowing her to listen closely and lead with clarity. She approaches every responsibility with care and purpose, creating a space where voices feel acknowledged and valued. A natural debater with an interest in public speaking, she enjoys travelling and practising yoga, both of which shape her balanced, mindful, and peoplecentric approach to leadership.

DIVYANSHI DHAR
Divyanshi Dhar is a cheerful and grounded individual who values learning through everyday experiences. She approaches her work with sincerity and a sense of responsibility toward the department, focusing on cooperation and steady effort rather than recognition. She believes that meaningful growth comes from listening, learning, and working alongside others. Her interests include reading novels, interacting with people from diverse backgrounds, and creating memories that shape both personal understanding and collective experiences. She strives to contribute positively while continuously learning from her surroundings.

ANURAG MEENA
A first-year student of Political Science, Anurag Meena is friendly, approachable, and known for being dependable and organised. As Joint Secretary, he works towards ensuring smooth coordination within the department and supports the effective execution of council activities.
He has a keen interest in technology, particularly exploring devices and emerging AI structures, and enjoys understanding how innovation can enhance efficiency and productivity. Alongside his academic pursuits, he is inclined towards developing strong public speaking skills and continuously seeks opportunities for personal and professional growth. Through consistency and teamwork, he aims to contribute positively to the department and its student community.

​An enthusiastic individual who brings a mix of energy and commitment to the council. With a keen interest in photography and a love for sports, he values discipline, teamwork, and fresh perspectives. He is eager to contribute towards creating a supportive departmental environment.

Shagun Pandita is known for her clarity of thought, cheerful personality, and positive energy. Humble, humorous, and full of life, she brings enthusiasm and warmth to the department while remaining sincere and responsible in her role. With a keen interest in political ideas, governance, and institutional processes, she actively works to enhance academic engagement and student participation. Her energetic approach, combined with disciplined organisation and constructive dialogue, makes her an effective collaborator and leader. Shagun believes in meaningful initiatives that create lasting value for the department, carrying out her responsibilities with dedication, confidence, and a grounded sense of purpose.
